Hope this message finds you well. It only has been a couple of months since we met at the earth rounders meeting in St Petersburg in May. Since that time I have started my flight, taking off from the east coast of the USA, Canada, Greenland, Iceland and went through Europe to Jordan, Bahrain, Oman, Asia to Japan and have arrived in Sakhalin, UHSS.
Due to the winds of the hurricane and Russian authorities expecting us to use specific routes, we do not have sufficient gas to fly to Magadan, UHMM.
THe only option would be to fly UHSS direct TO UHMM. I would like to get permission from the Russian authorities to fly direct or as close as possible to direct. Can you help me to contact Moscow flight control to get this permission?
If not, is there anybody you know in Sakhalin who has AvGas?
If not, I only can mix automobile gasoline with my remaining AvGas and hope it works. But then I need permission to bring it to the airport and airplane.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

You friend Victor helped me already filling up my airplane with AvGas. That was very very nice and this could not have come at a better time. Thank you Michael. - you got a good friend. I remember what you said at the earth rounder meeting, when you spoke to the group. Pilots help each other. They are brothers.
I am planing to leave tomorrow morning at 9 Am local time from UHSS Sakhalin TO UHMM Magadan and two days later from UHMM TO UHMA Anadyr and one day later to nome PAOM AND after that to anchorage Alaska.
From our friend at AOPA Russia he had a connection in Magadan. His name is Igor. He has from a friend AvGas available but it is at Magadan13 airport.
The authorities will not allow me to land there and I could not land there. The runway is in poor shape and very short (400) metersy .
The authorities seem to be unwilling to let us bring the fuel in. That would leave me with very little,if at all, reserves coming into Anadyr. There are not many alternate airports to choose from.
I am not sure if there is any way to get AvGas in Anadyr. The kwik handler book says there is jet fuel only.
Do you have any ideas, connections in these airports?

Контакт отправлен. Но сотки там всё равно нет. Максимум 95 с заправки. Сотка есть в Магадане-13, но там на Ацтеке садиться рискованно из-за состояния полосы. Есть еще в Марково, но осеня дорого.
